These old vines have seen a thing or two! Harvested from the Frediani Vineyard in Calistoga, our Old Vine Zinfandel grapes come from 100+ year old vines. The years of the roots digging deeper and soaking up the characteristics of the centurys old soil, created the multi faceted juice that we’ve turned into a wine for the ages. On the nose you’ll enjoy aromas of totasted dry corn kernals, flint and tarragon. Being slightly more tannic because of the old vine complexity…the flavors of allspice, shiso leaf and suede titalize the taste buds in an overly enjoyable finish.
